At Capitalise, we’re not just about business credit scores and funding - we’re also about people. Our Partnership team works closely with accountants to provide support and ensure their clients have access to the right solutions to improve their financial health.
To give you insight into the people behind the platform, we caught up with Matt, one of our Partnership Support Managers.
Hopefully, this interview gives you a glimpse into the passion and energy that drive the work we do every day.
Meet Matt Rauch, Partnership Support Manager at Capitalise
What’s your job?
I am a Partnership Support Manager, which means I am responsible for managing and strengthening relationships between Capitalise and a portfolio of accountants and small businesses.
I work within a close-knit team of four, where each of us brings unique strengths to the table. Despite our differences, we share a common goal: ensuring partner success, satisfaction, and long-term collaboration.
What does your typical day look like?
My typical day starts with a coffee - essential! Then, I log into my email inbox, Slack messages from the team, and I organise my day ahead, prioritising through tasks. Mornings are ideal for making calls to accountants and businesses, so I dedicate that time to checking in, providing updates, and offering support.
After those conversations, I often log funding searches, help businesses gather documents to complete their funding application, and update clients on their business credit profiles. Every day is a mix of structured tasks and dynamic conversations, keeping things engaging.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
One of the best parts of my job is the people I work with - both at Capitalise and in the accounting world. I find the accounting community to be warm and easy to work with.
Our London office is located in a beautiful part of the city, and my walk across Waterloo Bridge each morning is a daily highlight. It’s a great way to take in the sights and start the day on a positive note. Most importantly, working here is exciting. I feel that the company is about to go to new heights and being part of that journey is incredibly rewarding.
A few fun facts
We also asked Matt some quick-fire questions to get to know him better outside of work:
Where are you planning your next holiday?
My girlfriend and I are heading to Nice, France, this summer. We’re looking forward to the sun, sea, and of course, French pastries!
Do you have a favourite music artist, song, or album?
Right now, I’m really into Country music. My favourite artist at the moment is Zach Bryan, and his song Pink Skies is my current go-to.
Any book, movie, or theatre recommendations?
I’d recommend Fury, starring Brad Pitt which is set during World War II. It’s one of my all time favourites, as I love war movies.
