We are seeking an ambitious and proactive Product Manager to lead on initiatives to help small businesses with their financial health and access to funding through our finance platform. About the role

As a Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of our funding product, driving its development and success from concept to launch and beyond. You will report to our Head of Product, Jack Johnson.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure our product meets the needs of our customers and achieves our business goals. 

Your role will encompass research, strategy, and execution, making a significant impact on our growth and success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
  • Develop and manage product roadmaps, aligning with company objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee integration projects with strategic partners, ensuring seamless API integrations and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Apply design thinking principles to create user-centric product solutions.
  • Brief UX/UI design teams on product vision and requirements, ensuring a cohesive and impactful user experience.
  • Manage and coordinate remote engineering teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Monitor and analyse product performance metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for customers, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in product development.

 

Who you are:

  • Seasoned Professional: You have 3+ years of digital product management experience, with a track record of delivering successful products.
  • Project Leader: You have held positions of project responsibility, delivering product initiatives to market.
  • Roadmap Manager: You excel in developing and managing product roadmaps, aligning with business goals.
  • Strategic Partner Integrator: Preferably, you have delivered at least one project involving API integrations with a strategic partner.
  • Research Driven: You have a strong ability to gather and analyse data, driving insights to inform product decisions.
  • Customer First: You prioritise the needs and experiences of customers, ensuring our products deliver real value.
  • Design Thinker: You enjoy applying design thinking methodologies to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Stakeholder Manager: You can effectively manage internal and external stakeholders, balancing their needs and expectations.
  • Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Empathetic: You have a deep empathy for customers and are driven to solve their problems.
  • Remote Team Coordinator: You have experience managing and coordinating remote engineering teams, ensuring effective collaboration.
