London, 10th March 2016 – Microsoft has selected Capitalise to join its latest accelerator, the fifth cohort of its 16-week programme for high growth technology companies.  Under Microsoft's guidance, Capitalise will accelerate its vision to make access to finance a reality for every British business via Capitalise.com.

Capitalise officially launched at Finovate last month and is the first online marketplace using behavioural analytics to intelligently match lenders with SMEs seeking finance.

Capitalise.com features more than 50 institutional lenders, enabling small businesses to search, rank, select and manage finance options via a single automated application at Capitalise.com.

Capitalise is one of 13 companies chosen to participate in the accelerator, which aims to help firms scale their business, bring innovative services to market, and reach new customers.

Paul Surtees, MD and co-founder of Capitalise, says:  "We have already supported thousands of companies in their search for funding, demonstrating the market need for an easier and more transparent way to search and select business finance.  Working closely with Microsoft will enable Capitalise to more quickly develop our machine learning capability and realise our ambition to make access to finance a reality for all small businesses."
