Oliver Cummings Jun 28, 2017

Summary

Through Nuvem9’s funding activities they have seen their funded clients win awards, achieve double digit growth, hire new staff, enable their clients’ clients to settle an invoice dispute as well as see supplier balances paid off.

Since their first deal in December 2016, Nuvem9 have gone from strength to strength on our platform.

Clients: 5 clients
Loan types: Asset, contract & invoice finance and working capital
Amounts:  £872,000 funded
Lenders: 6 different lenders

Why Nuvem9?

Quick to adopt new technologies for the benefit of their clients - not only do Nuvem9 use Google Hangouts & Skype they are the first accountant we have met who have rolled out Slack to their clients (a darling communication tool for the tech community - Capitalise included). The Nuvem9 clients we have had interaction with hugely value Nuvem9’s digital first, always on, virtual nature. It is this dedication to service and adoption of value add tools that make Nuvem9 our June Capitaliser of the month.

If you have ever used Strategyzer and their canvases - you will know the benefit of a clear value proposition. Merging communication tools and a single access point to business funding has enabled Nuvem9 to reposition funding as a key component of their value proposition. It is no longer a reactive service but a lead-in service to turn contacts into clients and added value for their existing portfolio.

Nuvem9 & Capitalise

Including the first contract finance transaction, Nuvem9 have gone on to fund 7 separate funding lines, across five clients totalling £872,000 with an average loan size of £117,000 - across multiple assets (asset, invoice & contract finance as well as working capital loans). They have funded through merchant bank, peer-2-peer, alternative and independent lenders.

Nuvem9 understand the opportunity that “funding” presents to their business. They Just Get It!
