Capitalise & PJCO talk funding

Catching up with PJCO founder Peter Jarman at QuickBooks' Get Connected roadshow

Ollie Maitland Jun 11, 2019

The QuickBooks Get Connected roadshow brings together accountants to discuss the future of the industry. This year, we proudly partnered up and got involved. With plenty of insightful sessions across four different events, it was great to see such exciting changes in the market.

Cloud accounting is changing the industry for the better. We had a good chat with Peter Jarman, founder of PJCO, one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the UK and recent winner of QuickBooks' UK Firm of the Future 2018.

Speaking to Peter, there were three main themes that stood out.

  • Cloud builds stronger relationships – the use of cloud technology opens up more opportunities to engage with clients.

  • Clear funding process – through the Capitalise platform, accountants have a systemised route to support clients in accessing funding – even without extensive financial background.

  • Evolving the service line – cloud accounting makes it easier to introduce new service lines such as business apps, tax diagnostics, employee benefits and – of course – funding.

Have a look at the webinar where we discuss the future of PJCO, the impact of cloud accounting and using funding to build out a new service line.

Whether part of the core proposition or used an ad hoc basis there are plenty of ways to use funding to build your firm for the future.
